Dear Friends and Family in the Lord,
Greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ, blameless Son of God. May the God of peace surround your heart today with an abundance of unexpected joy. The Lord goes before us, behind us, and is living inside of us, what more do we need? Praise the Lord.
I have been praying about what to put in this newsletter. Since I have limited space and I have only been sending them out once a month I pray for great wisdom. I have been praying much for all of you, that the Lord would make you blameless and spotless at His return. Last night, I was very stirred in my Spirit that the return of the Lord is coming very soon and there needs to be desperation for our own holiness and zeal to preach and teach the gospel to every creature. All I could do was cry last night thinking of how many souls are perishing a day without the love of Jesus, without hope, and without God. How many souls are going to hell because we are not preaching the gospel to them? How many souls will never know the love of God because we are too busy? We are not living in the light of eternity. We are too busy to see this world through the eyes of Jesus Christ because that means it would cost us our time, our energy, and then a responsibility to involve in. There is no time to be playing games, no time to be slack in prayers, no time to be living in vanity. I pray that all of you have been bearing fruits unto righteousness and salvation. Also that the Lord has been pouring out His richest blessings to your minds and hearts and you are living in the fullness of the will of God for you.
This month God has shown me once again mercies beyond number and my faith has been strengthened by the grace of God. I have suffered with sickness off and on for the glory of God. God has been doing some amazing things here with the people and the churches, many strengthening joys and challenging trials have been perfecting our minds and hearts. Each day that we serve God is a new day to learn a new lesson, conquer an old fear, and expect the things that we are praying for tomorrow, to see this world more through the eyes of Jesus. I have been amazed by the things that I have been seeing and it is a childlike wonder and awe of the things that the normal eye does not get to see but when you walk by faith then you see the promised lands of undiscovered joys. I have often wondered in my life why I hold on to the present pain instead of running after undiscovered joys, because it means turning your back on your comfortable pains and walking by faith into the undiscovered joys. The children of Israel were in the land of bondage, and then the Lord as promised, saved them mightily from that land to take them to the Promised Land. But as they were wandering in the desert they grumbled and complained that they were better off in Egypt . Let this not be said of us dear friends. We are mere strangers and pilgrims on this earth, we are looking for a city which has foundations whose builder and maker is God. Let us press on and not look back or we also will become as Lot ’s wife who was hardened through her own unrestrained desire to gaze upon the past world. Praise God we are not called to this but we are called to press on, look forward, and fix our eyes on Jesus Christ.
The hostel has been going well and this month we added two children to the home. They are good children whose mother left and whose father were unable to take care of them. They are 3 and 5 years old and have adjusted well to living in the hostel. The children have accepted them well and the laughter, games, and singing is heard on the whole compound. An amazing answer to prayer this month was the provision of the money to buy a milking buffalo for the children. Praise the Lord for the Christian love of the Park Church (my family church). Thank you deeply from my heart and the hearts of the children. Also the children's new bathrooms are almost completed. Praise the Lord. This is an added blessing also for meetings held here at the church. We have been visiting the churches of the 30 tribal pastors who are working very hard in the interior villages. Despite many harsh conditions of poverty, sickness, and disease the joys and faithful prayers of these pastors make a very solid team that pray and spread the gospel together. We have been visiting these villages and in many I have been the first white person to enter sharing the gospel, so it has been some exciting opportunities of prayer and fellowship. God has been moving the hearts and there have been many tears, laughter, and prayers of faith. How sweet it is to see the faith of the aged and then the enthusiasm of the young people. Also, two weeks ago we had 4more baptisms. The Holy Spirit touched their hearts and they went forward. With Hindu women accepting the Lord and baptism they are putting themselves in a dangerous position with husbands and families but these 4 women decided to follow Jesus. I pray daily for the young people. I have been able to speak with the young people a few times and I ask you to pray with me that they will be stirred up. They only need some direction and the daily anointing of the Holy Spirit and these 40+ young people could be a mighty army. Last week 18 new young people came that had never been here before and the Holy Spirit gave me a message of light and darkness and of truth and lies. I challenged them to not take my words but ask the Lord to reveal Himself to them. Praise God. Join me in prayers.
I want to also thank the many people who have been supporting in prayers. Every prayer will be answered for the glory of God. As a friend wisely reminded me, “God knows the things you have need of before you ask.” Let us pray with a quiet confidence boldness that knows that God will answer our cries. I have been amazed and brought to tears by the answers that the Lord has been pouring out in my life and the lives of those around me. Please continue to join me in prayer and fasting for the needs of this ministry, much wisdom is needed and Lord willing the end of this month we will be supporting these 30 pastors with some financial blessings. Also, we will be having an all night prayer meeting on the night of the 1st of September, pray that these pastors will be strengthened and the families and congregations will be full of faith and good works.
A few specific things to pray for:
· The pastor team for financial support (church constructions, food, Spiritual strength and faith)
· The hostel children for financial support (food, clothes, cots, love for God)
· The various needs of Joseph and Prema (Prema has been suffering much (tears), wisdom, strength)
· A van is needed for the ministry, one that can take many pastors to minister to the gospel in the villages
· Kannigudem church construction pray for completion of Church building
· Pray that my mind will be clear, my vision focused, and that above all trials and afflictions I will bear in my body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the fiery burning aliveness of the HOLY GHOST would set me on fire like never before. That is my prayer above all.
Praise the Lord who desires to fill us with His Holy Presence. What a powerful thing when His people have a Holy desire, a holy calling, a holy life and they are actively pursing the enemy and fighting to take souls out of darkness. We can only do this if we have taken the time to cleanse our hearts, to beg and plead with God to change us and to cut to the core of our heart and searing it with the fire of God, for a cross to be permanently seared on the flesh of our souls. This is the cry of my heart and has been the cry for my friend’s hearts.
One more verse I will share with you that stirred powerfully in my heart last night, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements; will melt with a fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in Holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heaven will be dissolved being on fire, and the elements will burn with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” PRAISE GOD. Let this be the cry of our hearts as this world dies day after day, as the Lord is preparing His return, and as the churches sit in apathy and lethargy. Even as our own hearts daily must have the numbness shaken off and the battle cry sounded in our ears. Let us awaken each morning to grab a hold of the Lord lest it also be said of us as in Isaiah 64:7, “And there is no one who calls on Your name, who stirs himself up to take a hold of You; For You have hidden Your face from us, and have consumed us because of our iniquities.” So, I beg you in the love of God. “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:7-10
I love you all and will continue to pray that after you have suffered for a while, God will perfect, strengthen, establish, and settle you. Press on and pray only for the anointing of the Holy Spirit and you will be able to bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, and endure all things. Love will never fail. This is the love of God that you may know Him and take part in His sufferings. God be with you~
